About the Club
Brighton & Hove Albion FC was founded in June 1901 and represents the twin coastal towns of Brighton and Hove on England's south coast. Nicknamed the Seagulls, the club plays in blue and white stripes and has staged home matches at the Falmer Stadium since 2011, the end of a turbulent period that included the sale of the old Goldstone Ground in 1997 and two seasons groundsharing in Kent.

Albion's silverware is largely lower-division: Southern League champions in 1910, Fourth Division winners in 1965 and three third-tier titles. Its most celebrated moment remains the 1983 FA Cup final, lost to Manchester United after a replay. Promotion in 2017 ended a 34-year absence from the top flight, and the club has since consolidated in the Premier League, reaching European competition for the first time in 2023 and finishing eighth in 2025-26.
