About the Club
Associazione Calcio Monza was founded in 1912 in the Lombard city of Monza, north of Milan, and spent more than a century without ever reaching Serie A - the longest wait of any Italian club of its size.
That ended in 2022, two years after Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani bought the club, when Monza won promotion through the play-offs. The team plays at the Stadio Brianteo, opened in 1988, and wears red and white.
Monza's honours are otherwise modest: three Serie C titles and the Coppa Italia Serie C on four occasions.
