Born in Sanguedo, Santa Maria da Feira, Pedro Miguel Costa Santos was formed at Fiães before joining Benfica's academy in 2016 at the age of thirteen. He signed his first professional contract in March 2019 and renewed it in August 2021.
A left-footed winger who operated on either flank and occasionally behind the striker, he was promoted to Benfica B and made his professional debut in the Liga Portugal 2 on 14 December 2021, as a late substitute in a 1-0 win at Académico de Viseu. He scored his first competitive goal in October 2022 against B-SAD and became a regular in the reserve side, totalling 62 matches and 8 goals across three seasons in the second tier.
He never appeared in a competitive fixture for the first team, his only senior outing coming in a pre-season friendly against Celta de Vigo in July 2024. Benfica extended his contract to 2028 in May 2024 and then loaned him to Moreirense, where he made his Primeira Liga debut in August 2024.
In July 2025 he left the club permanently for Famalicão on a three-year deal. He represented Portugal at under-21 level.
