A product of the Caixa Futebol Campus, the Lisbon-born winger of Santomean descent spent almost the whole of his formative football life in red, joining the Benfica academy as a young boy and climbing every rung of the club's youth structure.

Lima signed his first professional contract with the Eagles on 6 January 2022 and was promoted to Benfica B in 2024, using the Liga Portugal 2 as his proving ground. His senior bow arrived on 17 October 2025, when he came into a 2-0 Taça de Portugal victory over Chaves.

A regular for Portugal at youth level, he represented the national team from Under-17 through to Under-20, featuring at the 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and scoring five goals in sixteen appearances for the Under-17s.

On 10 February 2026 he left the Estádio da Luz for the first time in his career, joining Polish Ekstraklasa club Piast Gliwice on a contract until 2029.
