Tiago Miguel Geraldes Parente, a native of Bragança, joined Benfica's academy as a youth player and signed a training contract in October 2020. He turned professional in October 2022 and renewed his terms in July 2024, with the current deal running to 2029.

A tall left-back who can also fill in at centre-back, he came through the under-17 side in 2022-23, appearing 31 times and scoring five goals, before moving up to the under-19s and the under-23 team. He has been part of Benfica's UEFA Youth League squads and is a Portugal youth international, capped at under-19 level.

Parente was integrated into Benfica B from 2023-24 and has since become a regular in the reserve side in the Liga Portugal 2, passing thirty appearances in the competition. He made his first appearances for the senior squad in pre-season friendlies in July 2024, debuting against Farense on 12 July.

He remains on the club's books, having not yet played a competitive match for the first team and never having represented another club at senior level.
