Born in Lisbon to Bissau-Guinean parents, the centre-forward started out at Alta in 2015 before joining the Benfica academy in 2016, where he stood out at every youth level and signed his first professional contract in 2024.

Standing 1.87m, Cabral made his senior debut on 25 January 2026, coming off the bench and scoring in a 4-0 Primeira Liga win over Estrela da Amadora. On 16 February 2026 he extended his contract with the club until 2031.

Capped more than forty times by Portugal at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, he enjoyed a spectacular 2025: he scored in the final against France as Portugal won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, and then finished as the second-highest scorer at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup with seven goals, netting the winner in the final against Austria and collecting the Silver Boot.
